Q - One Trike Hitch Rack
A -
- The one trike hitch rack can handle either a tadpole trike (two front wheels) or a delta (two rear wheels trike.
- Tadpole trike has two front wheels.
- Delta trike has 2 rear wheels.
- The one trike hitch rack weighs approximately36-38 lbs. depending on model.
- The wheelbase is measured as the distance between the axles.
- The standard one trike hitch rack can handle a weight up to 60 lbs.
- The heavy duty one trike hitch rack should be used for trikes weighing over 70 and up to 120 lbs.
- The one trike hitch rack can accommodate the 4" tires, commonly known as "Fat Tires". After you order, please send an email to cyclesimplexllc@gmail.com stating that you have fat tires and we will provide wheel trays, wheel stops and longer straps to accommodate the 4" tires.
- The one trike hitch rack comes standard with the tilt-up option. The tilt-up option allows you to tilt the rack up out of the way when there is no trike on it. This is beneficial when leaving the vehicle and rack in a parking area or garage with no trike on it.

- The heavy duty one trike plus one regular bike hitch rack should be used for trikes weighing over 70 and up to 120 lbs.

Q - One Trike plus One Tandem Bike Hitch Rack

- The one trike plus one tandem bike hitch rack can handle either a tadpole trike (two front wheels) or a delta trike (two rear wheels ) plus a tandem mountain or road bike.
- Tadpole trike has two front wheels.
- Delta trike has 2 rear wheels.
- The one trike plus one tandem bike hitch rack can handle trike wheelbases of up to 76" and tandem bike wheelbases up to 76". We can accommodate longer wheelbases on a custom basis.
- The one trike plus one tandem bike hitch rack can handle both short wheelbase tandems (SWB) and long wheelbase tandems (LWB).
- The wheelbase is measured as the distance between the axles.
- The standard one trike plus one tandem hitch rack can handle a trike weight up to 60 lbs and a tandem bike weight of 60 lbs.
- The heavy duty one trike plus one tandem bike hitch rack should be used for trikes weighing between 71 and 120 lbs.

- The one trike plus one tandem bike hitch rack has a tilt-up option. The tilt-up option allows you to tilt the rack up out of the way when there is no trike on it. This is beneficial when leaving the vehicle and rack in a parking area or garage with no trike on it. Please note that the rack may not tilt all the way to a 90 degree angle due to the configuration of the back of your vehicle and where the receiver insert is mounted.
Q - One Tandem Bike Hitch Rack

- The one tandem bike rack is only for a 2" receiver hitch. If you have a 1.25" receiver hitch, you can get an adaptor at etrailer.com or discount ramps.com. U-Haul also carries them. We suggest that if you use an adaptor, you also use 2 anti-rattle bolts to remove the movement introduced by the additional joints between the rack and the receiver hitch.
- The one tandem hitch rack does not work for Recumbent tandems. It only works for tandems that have seat posts and both sets of pedals are behind the front wheel
- The one tandem bike rack comes with all the straps you need.
- The one tandem bike rack does not tilt down when the tandem is either on or off the rack. In order to access the back of your SUV you need to remove the rack. Since the rack only weighs about 27 lbs, removing the rack is very easy and takes just a few seconds.
- The one tandem hitch rack cannot be used with a full rear fender. You need to be able to stand your tandem vertically on its rear wheel with the fender clearing the ground by 4" in order to use this rack.

Q - Two Trike Hitch Rack

- The two trike hitch rack comes in models for two tadpole trikes, two delta trikes and one tadpole trike and one delta trike.
- The two trike hitch rack can handle either a tadpole trike (two front wheels) or a delta trike (two rear wheels ).
- Tadpole trike has two front wheels.
- Delta trike has 2 rear wheels.
- The two trike hitch rack does not tilt down for access to the rear of your SUV.
- The two trike hitch rack weighs approximately 49-57 lbs. depending on model.
- The heavy duty model only comes in the 2" receiver hitch model. If you have a 1.25" receiver hitch, you can get an adaptor at etrailer.com or discount ramps.com. U-Haul also carries them. We suggest that if you use an adaptor, you also use 2 anti-rattle bolts to remove the movement introduced by the additional joints between the rack and the receiver hitch.
- The two trike hitch rack cannot be used with a full rear fender. You need to be able to stand your tandem vertically on its rear wheel with the fender clearing the ground by 6" in order to use this rack.
- If the combined weight of your two trikes is over 140 lbs., you will need the heavy duty rack.
- To load your trikes onto the two trike hitch rack you need to stand the trike vertically on its rear wheel(s) and pick the trike up vertically to the bumper level and set the trike on the rack. We have designed the rack to hold the trikes vertically because you only have to lift them to the bumper level. With a horizontal rack you lift one trike to the bumper level, but you have to lift the other trike to chest level.
Q - Expedited Shipping
A - We try to ship within 5 - 10 business days but with staffing and supply chain issues, we may be longer. If you choose expedited shipping at an additional cost, it will not speed up the time it takes CycleSimplex to ship the order from the time it receives the order

Q - Warrantee
A - You may return the rack for any reason within the first 15 days from receipt of the rack for a refund of the product cost provided it is packaged as received and incurs no damage in the return shipment. There will be a 15% restocking charge on all returns. If you choose not to properly package the product for the return shipment a larger restocking fee may be deducted from your refund depending on the damage.
Q - Straps
A - All CycleSimplex racks come with a complete set of straps. The purchase of additional straps is not necessary
