WE BELIEVE THE CYCLESIMPLEX ONE TANDEM RACK TO BE UNIQUE IN THE MARKETPLACE BECAUSE IT HOLDS A SINGLE TANDEM BIKE IN A VERTICAL POSITION.  THE VERTICAL POSITION IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE MOST RECEIVER HITCH TANDEM RACKS ALLOW THE TANDEM TO STICK OUT ON EACH SIDE OF THE VEHICLE.

TANDEM BIKES TEND TO BE HEAVY.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT OUR ONE TANDEM BIKE RACK CAN BE LOADED BY PICKING UP ONLY ONE END OF THE TANDEM AT A TIME, MAKING IT MUCH EASIER TO LOAD (PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE FOR A VIDEO OF LOADING THE TANDEM).

NOTE: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU TIE LINES FROM THE TOP OF THE TOWER TO THE HINGES OF YOUR TRUNK OR THE HATCH OF YOUR SUV OR THE SIDES OF YOUR PICKUP TRUCK BED TO STABILIZE THE RACK DURING STRONG CROSS WINDS.  SINCE WE DO NOT KNOW THE LENGTH REQUIRED FOR EACH VEHICLE, WE DO NOT PROVIDE THESE LINES.

ALSO, YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO STAND THE TANDEM VERTICALLY.  IF YOU HAVE FENDERS AND THEY HIT THE GROUND, OUR RACK WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU REMOVE THE REAR FENSER OR CUT IT BACK.

We also believe we are the most cost effective tandem rack in the marketplace. To keep prices down we have implemented a few cost reducing measures:

• Only LWB Tandems (Both Sets of Pedals are Behind the Front Wheel) are accommodated
• The One Tandem Rack Is for 2” Receiver Hitches Only.  You can purchase 1.25" to 2" adaptors at U-Haul and other Trailer Hitch Stores. If you decide to use an adaptor, you should do so with an anti-rattle hitch pin at each joint.
• We use galvanized steel for a few of the components which eliminated the need for costly powder coat paint on those components.
